Division Chief Bungartz commenced his law enforcement career at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in August 1986. Throughout his 37-year tenure, he has been involved in every division, dedicating 28 of those years to the Patrol Division. Currently, as the Division Chief of Patrol, Chief Bungartz offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in his leadership role. He is dedicated to mentoring the upcoming generation of deputies, recruits, and cadets, while also maintaining the agency’s standards for professional and effective public safety services.
