Civil Process
Learn how to initiate civil service actions, access forms, and review fee schedules through the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Effective January 1, 2026, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office will implement a change in fees to ensure compliance with Resolution 2014-116 adopted by the Adams County Board of Commissioners. This resolution permits the Sheriff’s Office to charge a fee of up to $200, plus mileage, for the service of a writ of restitution.
This adjustment is in accordance with Colorado Revised Statute 30-1-104, which authorizes the Sheriff’s Office to assess fees for the execution of various legal processes.
