About the Detectives Division

The Detective Division investigates, apprehends, and prepares prosecution of criminal offenders for the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

The division comprises the Crimes Against Persons Section, Crimes Against Property Section, Crime Lab, Joint Terrorism Task Force, Safe Street Task Force, Property and Evidence Unit, North Metro Task Force, and Victim Advocates.

Towed Vehicle Lookup

If your vehicle has been towed in Adams County, you may contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office to locate it. Have your vehicle’s license plate number, VIN, or other identifying information ready. Towed vehicles may be stored at various impound lots depending on the jurisdiction and reason for tow.
