About Alex Kondos
Captain Alexander Kondos commenced his career in the sheriff’s office in 2002. In 2004, he transitioned to the patrol division, where he held several supporting roles, including FTO, Tactical SWAT Team member, Assistant Team Leader, Team Leader, and Commander, as well as an instructor in various skills and a member of the CRT team.
Subsequently, Captain Kondos moved to the training unit, where he served as an academy coordinator, sergeant, and commander at different times. He later took on the role of Commander for the North Metro Task Force and is presently the captain overseeing the Patrol Division.
In addition, Captain Kondos attended Regis University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology, American Military University, where he obtained his master’s degree in Intelligence Analysis and Homeland Security, and Walden University, where he received his PhD in Public Policy and Administration.
Furthermore, Captain Kondos teaches at the college level in the Criminal Justice Field and is actively involved in college advisory committees.
