A Shooting at a Residence in Adams County Leaves One Dead and Three Injured

Deputies and Detectives are investigating a shooting at a residence in Strasburg that left one dead and three injured

STRASBURG, Colo. (Sunday Jan. 11, 2026) – Just before 2 a.m. on Jan. 11, 2026, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting at a residence north of 96th Ave and Strasburg Road. Upon arrival, deputies located one adult male with gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced deceased.

Three additional individuals with gunshot wounds were also located and treated at local hospitals.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident and interviewing witnesses. Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 720-322-1313.

The Adams County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity after notifying next of kin and the official cause of death at a later date.

This is an ongoing investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
