FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 17, 2025

Adams County, Colo. (July 17, 2025): On April 22, 2025, it was discovered that controlled substances were brought into secure areas of the Adams County Detention Facility.

An investigation was initiated, and it was determined that a nurse, Ashley Ryan—employed by a contracted medical provider—was allegedly introducing the contraband into the facility.
