Back once again! The ACSO Citizens Academy provides members of the community with a behind-the-scenes experience of the entire agency. Participants will get hands-on experience from our certified and professional staff members, from all of our Divisions. Apply at the link no later than February 20. Class Schedule
- Wednesday, March 4, 6-8:30 p.m. – Kick-off, Civil Unit and Victims Services (ACSO Headquarters)
- Wednesday, March 11, 6-8:30 p.m. – Concealed Handgun Permits and Office of Emergency Management (ACSO Headquarters)
- Saturday, March 14, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. – Specialty Units (SWAT, Bomb, K9) at FLATROCK Training Division
- Wednesday, March 18, 6-8:30 p.m. – Jail Tour and JSOG Demo (Detention Facility)
- Saturday, March 21, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. – Skills Day and BBQ Potluck at FLATROCK Training Division
- Wednesday, March 25, 6-8:30 p.m. – Community Resource Team (hands-on scenarios) and Traffic Unit (hands-on scenarios) (ACSO Substation)
- Wednesday, April 1, 6-8:30 p.m. – District Attorney Presentation and Courthouse Tour (Justice Center)
- Wednesday, April 8, 6-8:30 p.m. – Crime Lab and Detectives (ACSO Substation)
- Wednesday, April 15, 6-8:30 p.m. – Rampart Search and Rescue (ACSO Headquarters)
- Thursday, April 23, 6-8:30 p.m. – Academy Graduation
