Statement Regarding Ongoing Federal Immigration Investigations

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 29, 2025

Adams County, Colo. (January 29, 2025): The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is committed to upholding the laws of the State of Colorado and abiding by our agency policies and procedures to combat criminal entities, organizations, and activities in Adams County.

We want to assure the community that we will not jeopardize our schools, churches, or communities by conducting federal immigration enforcement, which is the role of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. We will continue to serve our communities equally and without bias.

We are dedicated to protecting our communities and will not participate in immigration enforcement or “roundups.” We are focused on fostering trust within our communities and upholding our values of dependability, collaboration, compassion, and unity.

We value the relationships we’ve built with our community over the years and will continue to provide a trusted and respected service through strong leadership, professionalism, and innovation.
