Division Chief Dunning began his career with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in 1989 before transitioning to the private sector. He returned to the agency in 2019 and has served as Division Chief for both the Professional Standards and Jail Divisions. Chief Dunning has over 16 years of professional law enforcement experience and has worked in the Jail, Patrol, and Professional Standards Divisions. A dedicated public servant, he values integrity, fairness, and collaboration, and works closely with his team to improve operations and ensure the safe, efficient functioning of the Detention Facility.
